Wow...I can't believe that it is December, and less then 2 weeks till Christmas! As I have every other month (except January) this year I would like to fill you in on what I did in November and what I have planned for December...and of course there will be a calendar for all of my iPhone loving friends out there!

November was a month to be thankful for! I was blessed with new opportunities, time with my family, and some great new friends. It was a busy month filled with photo shoots, DIY, and celebrations!

There are some great things in store for December...even though it is almost halfway gone. I have been a busy working DIY projects that I can't wait to share with all of you! I hope you are looking forward to my upcoming posts!

Where has this year gone? I feel like it should still be February! October sure was a great month. Dane and I celebrated our first anniversary. We took a little road trip to St. Charles and spent the day in the historic district. You read about what I got Dane for our anniversary here. We really did have a lot of fun in October. Dane and I also went to a game at Busch Stadium and celebrated Halloween at a bowling tournament (Dane was a hunter, I was a loofah). 

What does November have in store? Well, I have a lot of photo shoots, I have several holiday projects planned, and I am looking forward to spending time with my family for Thanksgiving. Wow...this post is way past due! I have been meaning to do this post for a while, but I got sidetracked by some fun DIY projects. Anyway...September is here (and almost halfway gone)! I love September...probably because it is the month of my birthday! It is has already been a great month (not that I am surprised), but more on that a bit later. 

First, let's talk about August! 

August was a great month! I had a lot of time to spend with family and friends, and I used that time to its fullest! I went on several little adventures during the month of August: I went to Raging Rivers, got to watch a couple of my brother's football games, spent a day at Carlyle Lake (and had s'mores!), and spent a lot of time reading! I didn't get as many home projects done that I would have liked to, but I was very busy with photography (I took pictures of my beautiful sister-in-law and her beautiful wedding!)

What do I have planned for September? The answer...a lot! I have already done a couple of DIY projects (you can see them here and here). However, there will be many more this month. There are several fall decorations that I want to get done! I also have some house projects that I want to finish up this month, and I am thinking about giving you a little house tour later this month. AND... I will be making a very big announcement regarding Brittney Laine Photography later this week! (Yes, you should be excited!) I am going to have to pencil in some time to celebrate my birthday! ;)

I cannot believe that July is over! When did that happen? It was a very busy, very interesting month.

I am doing a lot of photography work! During the month of July I had several exciting things happen in the world of photography. I changed my branding, found out that my photography is hanging up at the McDonalds in town, and made some changes to my photography blog! Plus, I have done several photo shoots that I am in love with! 

I almost went to Chicago...if you don't know what I am talking about you can find out here! Instead I found myself spending a lot of time in a couple of different hospitals. (To spend time with sweet sister and my cousin and her new bundle of joy.) Brooke is back to her crazy self, and Ceara and Kinleigh are doing well! 

I also got to spend a lot of quality time with family! We went to the lake a couple of times to hang out and relax. (I will miss the lake when the weather gets cold again.) I got to help throw a bridal shower for my lovely sister-in-law. AND I got to break in the best purchase ever! I found a vintage Dooney and Bourke at a yard sale for $1! Talk about a steal! 

All in all it was a great month! However, I am really excited to see what August will bring! Here is the August calendar!

This summer seems to be flying by. July is already here!? I am really excited about this month! There is so much going on!

•My little brother turned 20 yesterday! I cannot believe he is that old! CRAZY! We celebrated with Mom's American tacos last night! (basically she doesn't season the meat...think hamburger on a tortilla, YUM) 

•Last weekend Dane and I went on a float trip with a bunch of people he went to school with! We had so much fun, and it was really nice getting to know everyone.

•Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and I am spending the day at the lake with my family and my Bible! Sounds like a perfect day to me! 

•I have some very exciting photo shoots coming up this month that I cannot wait to share! 

•AND...it is time for the Pinterest Challenge! You can learn more about that here and here.

Another month has come and gone. I think this blogging thing makes time go by faster. I don't remember the months vanishing at this rate before. Anyway...May was a great month! 

• I got to celebrate a very special wedding.

• I managed to squeeze in a couple DIY projects! 

• I gave the blog a little makeover! 

• I have gotten to spend a lot of time with family. 

• I had the privilege of taking photos for a lovely young lady!

• I spent a day at the lake! (First time this year!)

• I visited the zoo for the first time in several years! 

And... June is going to be a great month too! 

• We get got to celebrate a big birthday. 

• There is a very special baby shower that I am helping host! (blog coming soon!)

• I have more DIY projects that I plan to do. 

• I have some wonderful photography sessions planned! 

• Plus, whatever else may come!

Have a great June! 

May is here, and once again I am astonished at how quickly the previous month went by. However, I am ready to embrace all of the possibilities that May holds. I was fairly productive during April, and I have a few several things that I want to accomplish this month. For instance, the pillows that I wanted to have done a long time ago! (I have decided to make some changes to them...we'll see how that goes) Plus, there are some big events going on this month that I cannot wait to share with all of you!

My main goal is to inspire you to do something that you love. After all, first comes love...everything else will have to wait. 

It is already April...how did that happen? My to do list is still growing (and still shrinking at a slower pace!) How am I supposed to get anything done when the weather is this beautiful?!?! I am not going to bore you with a list of task I have yet to complete, or the number of thing that I have added to that ever growing list...however, I will tell you that I excited to get my gardening on! I have never had a garden! (My mom had a garden and flower beds, but I didn't really do anything with them.) And since my loving husband will not let me get a dog (wouldn't you like to see pictures of a cute little puppy on here?) I am going to have to settle for raising flowers instead! Wish me (and the flowers) luck! You can check out my garden pin board to see some of my inspiration! 

To keep up with my monthly tradition I have created a calendar! (It also seems that I don't share the calendar until halfway through the month...i will work on that.) 

I am a little 6 days late on this post! Better late than never, right?

February flew by! I cannot believe we are already to the third month of the year, fifth month of my marriage (that is my new form of time measurement!) I will embrace it and hope that it is a productive month. I have a lot of stuff planned for March!

•Finish the office/guest room: This has been on the to-do list since October...now it is on the MUST get done list!

•Add homey touches: I have not hung anything on the walls yet...partially because I don't know where I want to put them...decisions, decisions. I am also searching for a ladder that I want to use for decoration.

•$1 Bowl Makeover: I need some bowls for the top of my cabinets. They are just going to be used for decoration...SO I have an idea to DIY some! (Don't worry...I will share!)

There is a lot to do. I tend to fill my to do list with things that don't ever get done. I decided to limit it so I can actually accomplish the whole list! Cross your fingers!

Well, I promised last month that I would design a calendar every month...

Normally, I would say that my favorite colors are the bright ones: sunny yellow, hot pink, and lime green! However, it seems that lately I have been drawn to pastels. The creamy hues are very calming and beautiful! Soft pinks, relaxing teals, and lovely purples are quickly becoming my favorites! (Who am I kidding? I don't have a favorite color, but I do have a new found love for pastels.)

I have decided to incorporate these perfect pastels in my New Year Month's Resolutions. Better late than never, right? Anyway, one of my resolutions: incorporate design into organization! That is a fancy way saying make a calendar each month.
